Today the president delivered his fiercley debated speech to American students. Will we hear reports of students marching in the street, glossy eyed like zombies exclaiming hail Obama? Not likely. Although, it is what most conservative critics would love to see so they could say we told you so. Nothing would satisfy them more to see the president crash and burn. Even though a tranacript of the speech was made public yesterday, some schools still opted out of showing the speech and others awaiting reaction before they air it. In the conversation with American youth the president talks about his days as a student in Indonesia and the responsibilities that students should fulfill. Responsibilty was the essence of his speech. So was it brainwashing? I sure hope so.
