Liar?

During president Barack Obama's speech to a joint session of Congress, Rep. Joe Wilson of S.C. (R) heckled 'you lie!' to the surprise of his collegues and the millions watching. We all know that tensions are high and people are emotionally invested, but why does a member of congress have to behave like a high school student? Wait, I just got out of high school and we don't act like that... so why does a member of Congress have to act like he's in elementary? Nonetheless, he has since applogized and the president has accepted his appology. Meanwhile contributions for Congressman Wilson's democratic opponent, Rob Miller, has recieved a huge boost thanks to his outburst. About 18 hours after the comment he raised more than $400,000 with over 11,000 individual grassroot contributions. Political leaders of all affiliation have condemed his remarks.
